In partnership with our client, w e are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of employment defense litigation experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation skills, excellent writing capabilities, and a well-rounded approach to their practice. This is a newly created position that offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive team with robust mentorship programs and committees designed to help you develop a specialty.

About this role:

A dynamic firm with nearly 30 years of success and experience. As they approach a milestone anniversary, we’re looking to help them expand their talented team with a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in employment defense litigation. Although the role is fully remote, candidates should reside close enough to San Francisco to attend court as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of employment defense litigation, with occasional court appearances in the San Francisco area.
• Manage a caseload effectively to meet the 1800 billable hours requirement.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys on class action cases and other labor and employment defense matters.
• Engage in continuous professional development through our mentorship program and committee participation.
• Provide high-quality written and oral advocacy in all phases of litigation.

Qualifications:

• 2-7 years of experience in employment defense litigation.
• Strong background in labor and employment law for the defense.
• Class action experience is a plus.
• Active CA Bar License.
• Excellent writing skills and a well-rounded legal background.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
• Open to candidates from various practice areas, including those with in-house experience.
• Interest in discussing partnership track during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000+ DOE plus performance-based bonuses.
