At UPLIFT Desk, we are looking for a talented Content Designer to join our e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web pages that educate and engage our customers, ensuring they have the best possible shopping experience. You will work cross-functionally to plan, create, and execute top-tier online content on our website, converting online shoppers into buyers through informative, creative, and dynamic product content. Your role will involve coordinating graphic designs, writing and editing content, and merchandising products appropriately to drive website traffic and turn site visitors into loyal customers.

As a Content Designer, you will collaborate closely with our Product Listing team to ensure that all product pages go live with a cohesive and accurate vision. Your efforts will be integral to our company's growth in e-commerce, utilizing your experience to drive conversions and enhance the consumer experience. You will be responsible for writing and editing clear, concise, and SEO-optimized copy for new and existing products, optimizing content daily with new keywords for improved searchability. Additionally, you will coordinate with design, photography, and brand teams to create compelling enhanced product detail pages, incorporating GIFs, video content, and best-in-class product imagery. Through your work, you will ensure that our product listings are not only highly educational and accurate but also serve our customers effectively.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in E-Commerce, Direct-to-Consumer, and Brand Building
• Proven Experience in Web Content Design and Management:
• Strong Writing and Editing Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field (or relevant experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in E-commerce Content Management Systems (CMS), especially working with Contentful and BigCommerce
• Deep understanding of User Experience (UX) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Experience with SEO Tools and Analytics
• Background in Digital Marketing
• Basic understanding of Javascript

What You’ll Do

• Optimize and Implement Content Strategy: Ensure UPLIFT Desk's content strategy is applied effectively across the entire customer journey, hitting key objectives, and meeting launch deadlines.
• Design and Build Web Pages: Develop compelling and informative landing pages and product listings that enhance the customer journey and drive conversions using Google Docs, Figma, and Contentful.
• Coordinate Graphic Designs: Collaborate with graphic designers to create Creative Briefs and ensure all visual content aligns with our brand story and enhances the customer experience.
• Write and Edit Content: Craft clear, concise, and SEO-optimized copy for product listings and web pages, ensuring they are informative and engaging.
• Merchandise Products: Present products in an appealing and accurate manner to boost customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty while maintaining proper margins.
• Collaborate Cross-Departmentally: Work closely with product developers, content writers, and the multimedia team to create and maintain compelling product listings and landing pages.
• Optimize Content for Search Engines: Continuously update and optimize web content with relevant keywords to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic.
• Monitor Web Performance: Use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track the performance of web pages and make data-driven improvements to enhance customer engagement.
• Enhance Customer Education: Develop and provide informative content that educates customers about our products, improves their understanding, addresses their issues, and builds trust in our brand.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
