SAIC is seeking a motivated Entry level IT Project Manager. As an Entry Level IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of IT projects within our organization. You will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management methodologies while contributing to the growth and success of our company.

This position can be worked 100% remote nationwide. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior project managers in planning, organizing, and executing IT projects, ensuring adherence to project goals, objectives, and success criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Support the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and assist in implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Assist in coordinating project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the preparation of project status reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.
• Support the implementation of project management best practices and process improvements.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and project management methodologies within the IT industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a Business - BIT/MIS.
• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Must be IRS cleared
• Strong passion for project management and a desire to develop a career in IT project management.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and concepts.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
