Role:

As a Financial Analyst, reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, creating detailed financial models, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic business decisions. This remote position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.

Location: This is a remote position, with candidates required to reside within a 2-hour drive from Pittsburgh, PA. Occasional travel to the Pittsburgh office may be necessary.

Responsibilities:

The essential responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

Analyzing financial data and developing detailed financial reports and models to support business decisions.
Preparing financial statements and presentations tracking performance against KPIs for the leadership team.
Monitoring and interpreting financial performance relative to forecasts, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assisting the finance team in preparing and analyzing capital expenditure proposals and investment appraisals.
Collaborating with various departments to refine KPIs and value drivers, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Refining and developing financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong grasp of financial principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly and concisely.
High level of integrity and professionalism, committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
Professional certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) are advantageous.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of overall financial experience.
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software and ERP systems.
Experience in a SaaS or start-up environment is preferred.
Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the US permanently.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 77,321.00 Per Year
