Job Title: Full-Time Nanny (Live-In Preferred)

Position Overview:
A loving family in Sherman Oaks, California, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Nanny to care for their two young children: a 3-month-old boy and a 7-month-old girl. This position is ideally live-in, with accommodations available in a comfortable pool house, though live-out candidates will also be considered. The role is long-term, requiring 40-50 hours per week, with an anticipated start date in late October or early November 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for both children, ensuring their safety, health, and overall well-being.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's development, including reading, playtime, and interactive learning.
• Maintain a consistent daily routine, including feeding, napping, and bedtime.
• Support the mother, a stay-at-home mom, in managing the household and children's needs.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying their play areas and doing their laundry.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Monitor the boy's specific needs, as he was born two months premature, ensuring his continued growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a nanny, especially with infants and toddlers.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and the ability to create a nurturing environment.
• A patient, loving, and proactive approach to childcare.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the parents.
• Flexibility to work 40-50 hours per week, with some weekend and evening availability if needed.
• A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
The position offers $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
