Occupational Therapist (OT/COTA) Contract Details:

• Job Title: Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Location: Litchfield, AZ
• Setting: School
• Schedule: 40 hours per week | Mon-Fri.
• Year long contract for the 24/25 school year

Occupational Therapist (OT/COTA) Pay

• $48-$50/hr taxable
• $72-$75/hr overtime
• $1,920-$2,000 weekly Total on 40 hours.
• Weekly Direct Deposit

Occupational Therapist (OT/COTA) Duties:

• Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
• Competent in care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
• Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
• Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Occupational Therapist (OT/COTA) Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• AZ Occupational Therapy license or State Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification.
• 2+ years of relevant experience; experience in an school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to and from different sites.
• BLS
