Position Overview:

As a User Experience/Product Designer at Servant, you will be a key player in crafting exceptional user experiences that align with the needs and objectives of our mission-driven clients. Responsibilities:

Product Design Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the design team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Set the direction for product experience and vision for projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Project Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with engagement leads, project managers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Translate project objectives into design concepts and user experience solutions.

Design Excellence:

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centered designs that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the design team to enhance product design excellence.

Team Development:

  • Identify and nurture the creative talents of team members.
  • Conduct regular reviews and mentorship to promote professional growth.

Collaborative Process:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate design concepts seamlessly into project workflows.
  • Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.

Client Interaction:

  • Engage with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
  • Present and explain design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback for refinement.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and uphold quality standards for design deliverables.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure consistency and alignment with project goals.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Assist in managing design project budgets.
  • Coordinate resource allocation to ensure optimal team efficiency.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a design role, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong UX/Product Design Portfolio to be considered. 

Preferred:

  • Experience in digital design and multimedia projects.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
  • Previous consulting experience.
